Day 8 – Final Day – Back to Victoria
We stayed in our tents pretty much the whole morning. It had rained pretty much all night. Everything was soaked. We eventually got out of our tents around 9:30pm to have breakfast – good ol’ sausage rolls! After breakfast we crawled back into our tent and took a nap. It was too wet to go for a walk along the beach. We set our mental alarm clocks for 12 noon for lunch. We got out of our tents again and made the last of our Sidekicks lunch.
Just when we were about to eat, our ride pulled up to our spot! We quickly finished our lunch, packed everything up and headed back to Victoria. We stopped at the 17 mile pub in Sooke for dinner and a nice break from the long drive home. Back to civilization!
