Singapore
January 3-5 2006
So is it true that if you spit or litter in Singapore that you’ll get fined? Well, I didn’t even want to try. I was afraid there might be cameras all around and that I would get some sort of beating, or even worse being caned. Despite all the rules and regulations, I did enjoy Singapore. I love the clean streets, the technology of the city, and of course the food. Phebe’s auntie Margaret was kind enough to show me around for a bit and took me to all the highlights. I had a great time at Sentosa Island, the big amusement park south of Singapore. I also had my fair share of seeing some wildlife as I went to the famous Singapore zoo and also the Jurong bird park. All in all, it was a short but sweet trip. I wish I could’ve stayed longer but my wallet would’ve had a big fat hole by the end of the week.
